Some Rules for DJ's. Double-check your equipment and tools before leaving for an event. Be prepared. Carry extra cables, power cords and speakers for emergencies. Organize and categorize your music. When requests are made, you should be able to access your music easily. Be on time! Set up early. Ask clients for feedback. Don't be afraid of constructive criticism. Strive to get better. Finally, thank your client for choosing you over the hoards of competitors who are out there.
